What if Europe's energy infrastructure came under sustained attack? Would we be ready to keep the lights on? For Ukraine, this is not hypothetical. Years of Russian attacks have forced the country to develop practical solutions for protecting, repairing and operating energy systems under extreme pressure. What can Europe learn from Ukraine's experience? Can decentralised energy production and storage make our grids more resilient? Are we investing in the right solutions? Looking ahead to URC2027 in Estonia, this fireside chat explores how Ukraine's hard-won lessons can help Europe build cleaner, stronger and more resilient energy systems.
